I wanted to lol at seeing this OP. Why would you want to read any philosophy pre-Socratic? I understand that there were thinkers before him, but not that many in all honesty and not measuring up to him. I'm genuinely curious. Also, hope you get the info you want in this thread.

Presocratic philosophy is pretty powerful stuff. Heraclitus and Parmenides are rivers from which the essentials of so much other philosophy flows.

I know everyone recommends Oxford, but I read Patricia Curd's 'A Pre-Socratic Reader' and it worked fine for my purposes
