The Taiping Rebellion, which came close to ending Imperial China at some points was lead by a Christian fanatic.

Also everyone who died did so because of agricultural failures more than Taipings killing people. If anything, it's Christians that got removed in the Taiping rebellion since it was crushed and thousands of their supporters were executed.
