Most people nowadays cannot fathom the impact the attempted communist revolution in 1918, which was led by Jews, had on German-Jewish relations.
Before 1918, Germany was not an anti-semitic country. In fact, German (and Austro-Hungarian) Jews were the most assimilated, best treated Jews in Europe, they were so assimilated that they felt confortable to discriminate against the Russian "Ostjuden" as inferior.
At least that was what Germans thought. But when 1918 came and Germany was at it's most delicate moment in history, the Jewish population of Germany overwhelmingly and unanimously decided to support a communist takeover of the Government, they not only deposed the Kaiser, but they also tried to establish a revolutionary communist regime that would result in the deaths of millions of Germans (they did the same in Hungary, btw).
And that came as a shock. Imagine yourself as an American, you spent your entire life thinking that Italian Americans are just regular people and that they are assimilated into American culture, and then suddenly, after 4 years of demanding warfare with China, the Italians decide to use their ethnic nepotist networks (the Mafia, for example) to attempt a takeover of the country and try to establish a fascist dictatorship exactly at the moment where Americans need unity.

The theory comes from evolution. THere are squirrels, for example, that will bark when they see a predator. This warns the other squirrels in the area that there is a predator and to hide. However, the squirrel that barks alerts the predator his location thus he sacrifices himself to warn his community. The racial theory holds that Aryans have genes that promote this type of behavior. Thus you see Denmark and Sweden actually have these 'nordic model' economies and such today.
The Semitic races however look like normal people but have different genes. The semitic squirrel joins the aryan squirrel community and enjoys all the benefits of the altruist community. If a squirrel sees a predator he benefits from the sacrifical bark of the aryan squirrel.
