Why is being exploited by the ruling class seen as desirable?

(ideology and mystification)

So everyone can have opportunities to pursue his personal desires. If everyone is just as able to succeed, then society will be able to advance together into a better future.

todays notion of equality was a reaction to concrete forms of institutionalised inequality from the feudal system

what people were objecting to wasnt the notion that people arent the same, or even that everione isnt realy equal in some biological or other sense, but to that explicit inequality was set up as a officialised system that you couldnt get out of, that this was distributed basicaly by decree, and that this was hereditary

so people invented a abstract notion of intrinsic equality ' all being created equal', and this was proclaimed a universal and then itself made institutionalised

usualy legal and political equality is seen as generaly desirable because it means everione is guaranteed certain rights and status as a autonomous subject in society

Strong claims. What's your evidence and reasoning?

Basically so you aren't wasting potential geniuses by having them shovel shit for the rest of their lives.

A huge part of being human is wanting to have something that is impossible to get.

A huge part of being human is the ability to reason. Desire is a construct of the mind; learn to control your mind and stop allowing it to exist.

If you aren't part of the ruling class, isn't it logical to hate them?

But that's exactly what's happening right now, with 'equality'.

A huge part of being human is a need to be understood and accepted. So we fathom these constructions from our limited scope of view, and frame as gestalt in the hopes of tapping something shared.

because the dregs of society think that they are equal to their masters
