(Not /pol/ but) I tried listening to this podcast called Yo Is This Racist? or something similar. A few episodes in and the host basically dropped this. The next episode he was responding to listener emails and was like OKAY FINE I GUESS and then made a point of saying it 'must have been' the only progressive platform the Republicans ever ran.
So I just stopped listening. I'm not even American and I know this stuff better. And it's not even that he didn't know to start with, it's that he clearly didn't bother following up on anything he got emailed about.
