Japan did literally nothing against the USSR. They had a non-aggression pact for the sole reason that Japan knew they would get BTFO. War wasn't declared between the two countries until 1945.

Hitler could have won if he didn't divert so many forces north away from the oil fields during Case Blue. If he seized the oil fields he would have had enough forces to reinforce the German 6th Army and could have possibly captured the western bank of the Volga and annihilated the 5 Soviet armies fighting in Stalingrad.

It was only during 1942-43 that they realized just what shit they got themselves into. This was in part because after the Finnish Winter War, Germany and the rest of the world saw the Soviet military as laughable at best, seeing as a tiny nation like Finland was able to hold the Soviets off for so long.
A good source is the actual conversation between Hitler and Finnish leader Mannerheim in 1942, where Hitler reluctantly explains to Mannerheim just how little they expected Soviet industry to be able to recuperate so quickly in terms of arms and vehicles.

The US were strategically aligned against Germany from the very beginning. They supplied both Brits and the Soviets with a massive amount of resources to keep up their war efforts. Japan had nothing to do with it.

Not really true the Germans could have Just passed Stalingrad and the defenders would have starved out. Opening up the huge amount of resources that were wasted in trying to take a strategically not very important city.
The War was lost at Stalingrad with the foolish decision to keep throwing men and equipment into the meat grinder.
