Why is it that traditional naval uniforms pretty much all look exactly the same?

Well of course. But this one stretches as far as Japan and south American countries too. And sure army uniforms can have lots in common, but navy ones are so similar especially I've noticed.

Its mainly a traditional dress. If they wanted practicality, they'd adopt a more uniformed clothing that all other service branch wear. They have all adapted to the current gen.
