Art style is more like Play Club rather than SBPR's cartoonier look, so there's detail in the skin texture (with related customization) and shaders for clothes are different from SBPR.
Most interesting change to customization vs SBPR is more settings for personality.
I've not seen any indication of it having the massage/foreplay stuff where you have more interactive control of your hands, but I suppose that's really been a Sexy Beach thing.

The cards probably have mods or the dimensions are wrong, at the main menu screen inf you press the button in the bottom left corner to convert old card to cards for this game, if it continually loads there is a problem.
what i do is look in my female folder and if any of the files aren't named something like "charaF_2016_0623_0127_20_535" or "trial_f_2016_0620_0058_48_556_6" i'll remove them, and see if they work in game.
Though sometimes ones that aren't named like that still work. Just trial and error really.
Graphics are better than Play Club. There is also a lot more character customization.
The theme is also more interesting (without rape).
