I like the idea of this suggestion, but just moving up a regular beat bar seems like poor execution. You'd want to design a system that takes up less space. Probably emulate crosshairs to minimize video real estate taken up, and most people are taught to pay attention to crosshairs while focusing on the background when they're like 10 years old.
Maybe something like transparent, shrinking concentric circles, like beats in osu but shrinking way slower. Might be harder to anticipate changes in rhythm, though the music should guarantee you get it after a bar.
I think a centralized bar would be a horrible eyesore. Why is this even necessary, considering that there are generally audio beats and mild flashes?
For most recent FHs, the only time tracking the beat is required is during changes in pattern.

Actually, this thread has structural advantages to surveys. Because it tends to be slower and less active, there is going to be a lower rate of interference from outside posters. Samples are going to be more likely representative of the population, because there are going to be fewer confederates in an insular community.
Effectively, this poll was done in conditions that were not ideal. However, for a poll taken informally on 4chan, in an insular thread, populated almost entirely by people who like FH, it is definitely "good enough."
The only protests against the poll results have been from people who are anti-host, and their support has amounted to nothing more than personal anecdotes. I imagine, should the results have been reversed, the anti-host crowd would have jumped at the chance to use it as evidence that creators shouldn't use hosts because the people willed it.

Cutting out the warmup/breaks and basically any non nude scenes (dancing scene).
I'm experimenting with the render options atm.
Going to use smart render for Sony, also render it as the same file format, and use VideoReDo (software dedicated to cutting videos and re-compressing it minimally as possible). If anyone has any other suggestions in hopes of keeping the quality loss minimal, feel free to respond.

I tried ffmpeg, but the audio codec isn't exactly the same. Everything else seems similar, only a very small difference in bitrate though. Using Sony vegas, it came out to be almost identical, but there is also a small discrepancy in bitrate, much smaller than the one with ffmpeg.

Fool's Hero feels like such a case of almost but not quite. Host is top notch, first and second rounds are absolutely amazing right down to the slightly superfluous effects, rest of the rounds weren't bad but it NEVER FUCKING FINISHED. IT JUST ENDS. No reward round, no brief "WINRAR U R GRATE" segment from the host, not even a "THE END".
Its definitely one of my favorites simply due to the first two rounds and the bubbly host, but goddamn it leaves me wanting more.

the general idea we had on the discord was a game that ran on unity 2d, with some different elements..
A general story that is set in a steampunk version of Paris. ca 1810.
we even had a storyline set up..

But as i'm not really proficient in drawing and rather new at sounddesign a project like this would take way to long..
I am still teaching myself to use unity.. honestly i prefer UE4 but the 2d interface of unity is much better.
But to be honest.. I would not be the best choice to be the leading role in such a project as i'm a bit unstable...

A10 already has that capability. However, it's very expensive, and ANY machine will have a subpar-sleeve compared to a proper onahole, so they're not very popular (relatively speaking).
