That being said we started using source control, so all the devs have access to everything. If hs-dev doesn't come back we can still function without him.

We're using bitbucket. As for making it public, that would be hs-dev's call. But you already have the slightly out-dated source if you still have HS2017 0.1.2 installed. The files with the rpy file extension are the scripts the game runs from.
