I made a Fap Quest opponent of KurochaNeco gifs. Labeling it as a v0 for the time being. Someone in the previous thread mentioned that gifs often won't open, leaving just an empty frame. It seems to be triggered by large gif filesizes (SAX pls). On top of that, it's also inconsistent whether or not a certain gif will not load. In testing, I only saw two instances of missing gifs after playing through this opponent up till level 5 after doing a lot of gif editing, so I'm deeming it good enough for release.

The source material for everything is already someone else's copyright, who receive nothing for the use, nor have granted permission for use.
Also, I would imagine that a lot of the programs people are using in making FH beat meters, image editing, etc. are also not above board.
So you have source material being used illegally whilst being made with illegally operated programs, then having people asking for money and paywalling source versions all the while breaking copyright and intellectual property law all over the place. The best example I have is the Introduction gifs from that opponent. I once had the intro gif not load, but because there's only three intro gifs, it should be easy to narrow down which one it was. But after some testing, all three can and usually will load.
Same thing happened once with the regular scene gifs. I made a tally of which gifs appeared and it seemed all of them can load, but occasionally one just doesn't.

It didn't go well :( , so I just added a Host to a existing one => Metronome Time by Ninza. (With his permission of course).
In this version you will see a host and also some "dialogue" and "action" during scene.
It's the first time I'm using a video software (Kdenlive).
I don't have license to use some professional tools (adobe pre/sony vegas / etc...)

As to what can be improved, it could have done with a bit more proofreading, and the sentence structure was awkward in places (I'm assuming not English native). Having all of the text popping up at once during the intermission conversations also struck me as odd.

Never really liked metronome, the overly synched beats made me laugh way too hard when shit began shaking like Michael J Fox sitting on a an old washing machine. The host made it fappable though, really wish more FHs bothered to add one in.
In the future, proofread. The editing is passable, you don't need much fancy work for a narrative so you did just fine there, but the sentence structure and spelling can be a little hard not to laugh at sometimes. I get that english might not be your first language but really it should be a priority to proofread before publishing.

I did notice that it looked a bit janky, almost like it was cut out from something. Another potential for a host is finding one that has CGs or an art set. Things like MGQ end up being immersive, even though the characters giving dialogue are basically still images with a handful of different facial expressions.
You might want to check out A Fool's Hero and Final Faptasy as their hosts are good examples of that, and similar to your own overall.

Actually, copyright is being breached simply by the unauthorized creation and modification of the works from their original state. Nothing done with Fap Hero would fall under "Fair Use" exceptions. If a hentai company wanted to, they could get them removed simply for being made without permission.
The selling time argument also doesn't fly on multiple accounts. Look at Bastati's Patreon for example. The donation incentives include things like choosing parts of the Fap Hero to your tastes, or having your own round. That is very clearly service for payment, one that is not remotely ambiguous. "Hurr, technically." No, not technically, you know just shit about what you are talking about.
Even without that obviousness, pay to play can be implied, and enforced should the result stem from the commission of an illegal act.

Game creators have rights to both of those. Let's plays are allowed simply because companies use it for marketing. Mods are 100% at the discretion of the company making them, because there are virtually no terms of service in which modifications will not be considered a breach. Again, they don't take them down in practice, but they can at any time.

Made a folder of my Fap Quest opponents. Finished the E.C.M. series and updated KurochaNeco to get the movements to sync better with the beat. Oh, and I also made opponents of some Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo girls. Uncensored with the exception of Akina, because she doesn't have a scene in the one episode that has an uncensored version.
SAX, it seems like having any images in the root of an opponent folder other than avatar.png causes the game to crash. Not a huge issue, but it's kind of dumb. Also, I feel like end gifs often don't play very smoothly or consistently, but testing them is hard so I'm not sure.

Depends, some parts you can't stroke as fast as the beat, it's impossible with an onahole (and sometimes hand as well).

Bastati there's some problem, in a few parts of the video there's either no beat sounds, or the beat doesn't match with the beat bar(not desync, I mean complete mismatch where every other beat is missing)
e.g. 11:46, there're 7 beats on the beat bar but only 4 beats were heard.
2nd example, 13:40 ~ 13:55, there's no beat at all

Some stuff i've found regarding Fap Quest:
As other people have said some gifs cause problems.
I've found that some gifs get cut short, or just don't seem to go through the whole loop.
If you still want the gif in your opponent, you can sometimes load them as unsyced (with the [@0@] like you explained on your wiki).
So no synchronised movement; but if it's a gif you absolutely want in your oppnent i guess unsynced is better than nothing.
I might try to try to see if i can understand the program, maybe even help a bit after exams are done, but i've never written any java; and haven't been able to build the source in eclipse as you said using gradle (it can't find tools.jar probably a path problem)
i guess we'll see..

Ah yes, I should have added extra beat sounds at those parts, it does feel a bit odd without the actual beat sound, you are right.
At the first 4/7 part it kind of goes with the other parts of the music and not beats, maybe did not work out so well, felt a bit stale to only have 1-2-1-2 beat all the time.
And on second part there would have been a too long break without it, but yes, beat sound there would have made it less weird.

Anybody else think the rounds in the original FH are poorly ordered? The second round seemed to be the hardest. Each time I tried it in the normal order if I made it past the second round I'd never lose on any of the subsequent rounds. I ended up splitting it apart in Vegas and re-ordering it to 1, 4, 6, 3, 5, 2 and thought that worked better. I could potentially lose on any round except 1 which was a warm up and 6 which was garbage anyway.
