I chose this vid just because it was recent, not to pick on any particular FH or author. Overall I think it's great what you guys are doing, and I ain't gonna bitch because it's free. But people asked for constructive feedback so here we go:
The round starting at 16:44: this round has a killer anime chosen, but:
1. Over 50% of this is blur/zoom/light/strobe effects, making it really hard to focus on the animation. Disrupts fapping.
2. The scenes change every 2 seconds (or even less sometimes) making it really hard to focus on the animation. This starts at the top of the round at 16:44 but go to 18:30 to really see it go overboard. Disrupts fapping.
3. Too fast animation and beatbar. Go to 18:20 and watch the animation. This is the "speed problem" people have been talking about. People don't fuck that fast, it looks unnatural and is distracting which disrupts fapping.
25:00 is REALLY ridiculous. I personally would spend more time laughing than fapping.
Even if the animation wasn't sped up so much, if you're doing full strokes up and down this is just too fast also. Try to find a real porn video of somebody giving a full handjob that fast for more than a few seconds. It won't happen.
4. Changing girls too fast. This is more of a personal preference, but this entire round would be so much damn hotter if it had each piece of each girl spliced together. This allows you to immerse yourself in that particular girl.
As it stands overall, this round just has too much going on. It's technically DAMN impressive but for fapping it sucks, especially if it's trying to make me cum before I'm ready.
I suggest watching the first 2 rounds of the original FH. The timing and editing is awesome.
Oh and the sample beatbar-with-equalizer thing that somebody else posted: it blocks the animation so I'm not a fan of it. Hope this helps.

There are many great things to be said about the original FH, but timing and editing are not one of them. The beat bar is rarely synced correctly, and the editing leaves much to be desired. Frequently, the creator chose shots that do not loop smoothly, or have wonky timing that involves several stutter frames to get back to the beginning of the loop.
I love the original (just played it earlier today), but its age is showing.
without fail every recent faphero has been overedited to death. extended strobing is weird, matching triplet beats to the animation more than once or twice looks unnatural & throws off the fapping rhythm, random sparkling shit everywhere is distracting, cutting every two seconds destroys any sense of buildup unless youre high on speed & have ADHD...i could go on

A good FH doesn't need to have the beats and animation synced. The point is to be watching hot hentai while having to pump and trying to hold back, not to be mimicing thrusts exactly to match the animation.

Not really. No one has managed to match its host and overall feeling of progression, and very few FHs have able to match its buildup, scene selection, beat selection and editing. Two of the middle rounds I don't care much for, due to the fact that I'm not a big fan of the animation and style used in those, but the rest is golden.
I completely disagree that the syncing is off, as I haven't noticed that at any point. The only remotely correct criticism you've been able to come up with is the stuttering frames, which is still rare and barely noticable.

I disagree not because I like over-the-top effect usage, but because they were used creatively here. I've noticed that the top creators here have used effect mostly to smooth over transitions and animations that, lets face it, are going to be hella janky. So many animations in modern hentai are just not smooth/wont loop and definitely don't always mesh with the edits a video maker is doing.

Hehe, I like this I want more of this. I couldn't be MORE bored with watching a hentai scene play out just like (or similarly) to the source. I think the fact that creators can mix'n'match from multiple sources and do it often is one of their great advantages.

Don't care personally. Like before, most modern hentai sucks for animation and speeding it up can smooth the bumps. Here this is mostly a matter of music choice. I want the animation to fit with the beat as best as the creator likes it to. I find those bits with a super-fast bpm but slow romatic thrusting to be rather awkward.

Just gotta say, I love the concept of fap quest and would happily make a handful of opponents if it wasn't so primitive currently.
Feels like there's a lot of features that could be added to this, going as far as taking the concept and making it a full game with proper progressions and RPG mechanics - probably with something a bit like bonfires, rare hubs with checkpoints far between with the options to return and keep XP/items? or go all in and risk having to restart since last checkpoint. Obviously it'd be easy to cheat though since the player needs to specifically input when they cum. If it's more fun than chore that shouldn't matter too much hopefully.
But mostly, what this needs is options. Starting BPM, round lengths, video&webm support, hell even stuff like a user-made music folder to drop in songs to be used for specific BPMs and making it fade smoothly as BPM changes.

I also did not mean to offend you or imply that your HMV was bad, it was quite good, actually (though I felt as if the beat was off by a miniscule amount). I just want something with a big wow-effect to release, since it's been quite some time since the last huge one, considering Fool's Hero got mixed reactions and some flaws.

I don't know about others, but I for one am working on something relatively big. 1 hour 9 minutes long, no more details revealed (those on the discord server probably know about it). The beatmapping and beatbar are both 100% finished so I thought I'd kill some time by making HMVs for a good practice, since that's pretty much the first time I've played around with After Effects' expression language. There might be some more HMVs before the full release, but hey - always some content to keep people and their flagpoles up and about.

First off, there's some ghosting here and there. Make sure to disable resampling if you're using Vegas.
Other than that, it's a fairly solid round in my eyes, not counting a few places where the video wasn't really following the beat, and some of the scenes were particularly all over the place - where by that I mean, character/camera movement ruined some of the scenes.
Really though, that's a very nice preview, I'm looking forward to seeing more. Keep at it!

I'm sorry I haven't been active lately but as some of you may know I'm still just a student and I'm taking extra classes this year and consequently I had/have a lot of exams in the past month or so now and I also have quite a few serious things happening in my private life of which I'd rather not talk here.

There were actually quite a few people who were skeptical of a Discord when it began, and I feel that this was probably the reason. It isn't even hard to predict, as splitting communities like this has happened since the days of Ventrilo. You could have a guild somewhere in an MMO, but then the "real" raiders or members would be using vent, as opposed to the ones who only texted in-game.

Want to say that I'm a member of the FH community. I'm not a creator, because I lack the time to create. I'm extremely appreciative of the hard work that goes into making a FH, and really enjoy all the new releases that the creators have been putting out. There are a few that aren't my taste, but there's no sense in complaining about those types of things.
It's a much better thread when people chat about what they like in FH, discuss their favorites, fap like crazy and just have a good time. All this nagging and complaining to the creators, acting like we deserve new FH's is fucking stupid.
