Since I didnt see a 'promotion' thread or some sort of it like on /ic, I decided to ask you guys, how you promote your work? I only have instagram at the moment and planning on making a website, so what could be a next step?
Also posting the stuff I accidentally posted on /ic earlier, critique welcome

Kek, it's a watermark man.
>>263803
i just watermarked them in paint, cause I'm not at my normal workstation
Did you not want help with watermarks?
>>263816
no, i wanted to know how you promote your stuff, how you present it, where you post about it and so on. I posted my stuff to maybe also get critique on it. I don't do it much, but I think i can figure out watermarks :)
bumping..
Did I do something wrong with this thread, cause no one is answering

most people on here don't want to be traced back to 4chan or have their works stolen (i had made hundreds of logos/illustrations but i have less than 50 "followers" i don't really care about promotion tho)
>>263893
Oh that's a shame, you seem nice, but I understand.. It's really sad to think, that you cant just openly talk about each others stuff on here though
>>263824
it depends. usually the people who capture more attention are the ones who have a very defined style for example marian bantjes, sam larson, siggi eggertsson, pierre kiandjan, andy gilmore, justin maller, etc.

That's true, allthough I think the stuff of Justin Maller for example is getting very repetitive and mainstream (superheroes). I dont want to sacrifice this much of my freedom as a designer, just to get recognition.
