hey guys, pretty new to this but I made this logo, but something just feels off. like the overall spacing is just wrong. I also don't want something too 'hacky'

Get rid of the paper texture and focus on the shape of the logo. Go back to pen and paper and draw some logos until you come up with something interesting.
What does Basilica mean to you?
You don't need to have all the things you do in your logo. Just your name. I would even lose the "designs". It should be obvious from context. Focus on creating a compelling logotype or wordmark.

The text your Title is centered, but since you have the Title and an Icon the pair as a group should be centered. Or you can just ditch the Icon; I don't think it's necessary.
