The whole point of the poster is to get people to attend an event, so they need to be able to easily read the text; so choose a better font color, blue on red isn't great. I like white, but any color that makes the text pop out more would be better.

I think you're achieving the style you're going for. and the previous poster was right - historically, psychedelic posters mean that you can't read shit. If your making a psychedelic poster targeted towards stoners/hippies/young people, this is the right direction to go and they will find out the details of the show one way or another. They are your target audience in this style.
