Anyone here have advice/routine to fix lower back pain?

>currently doing PT everyday and seeing MD every other week for progress checks

I do not have a spinal injury, discs are all sound, have had both xray and an MRI to see if there were bulges/extrusions present (there aren't)

Doc says it is muscle inflammation

Ideas /fit/ ? IDK what to do because this happens every goddamn year--making progress, strict form, etc. etc. and then my lower back flairs up... Just fuck my shit up senpai

K op I've had back pain since I've been 12, and I just found out how to fix it a few months ago. Take a la-cross ball, place it under your back onto the affected area and lie down on it. Don't flex or anything, kind of like you're melting. This will dig into the muscle in your back and free it up. It's going to hurt like hell for 30 seconds but what's more impotant to you. Also don't place the ball directly on your spine.

I get where you're coming from logically. How could I verify my form is correct? I've seen the videos posted regularly around here.

I'm currently doing Wendler 5/3/1 and my lifts have been steadily rising.

The "injury" occurred on a light squat day. I was warming up doing sets of 5 using 185 AtG.

Maybe my form was fucked--willing to consider all options.

I believe It's a form of fascia release, yeah. Also one more thing, are you able to touch your toes? Hamstring inflexibility is a major cause of back pain too.

I have the same shit, played video games all my life and I'm still pretty sedentary besides lifting because of studying etc
pick up a foamroller and a lacrosse ball and look up limber 11, it helped me out so much
