My boss is fat, but jogs pretty frequently. His glutes are sick and his physiotherapists lifting recommendations involve 200kg 3x10 leg presses and 20kg 3x10 cable rows.

Deadlift mainly hits glutes and hamstrings. Romanian deadlifts hit hamstrings even more. You need to hit quads if you want to get them joocy thighs. Squats and weighted lunges have been my best friends when it has come to quads.
