I'm a pale pasty fuckin blonde white guy. I burn easy even with sun screen. I need a tan to top off my sexy summer bod. How do i go about doing this? How long should tan for?

You can't tan. Don't try to do it or you'll suffer from sunburns even more. Buy some fake tan lotions or whatever if you want to

When I visited Hawaii I just slathered on a factor 50 sunscreen every morning. By the end of the trip (one week) I was actually browning a little bit rather than burning. Had never experienced it before.
Sunscreen is your friend. Wear a high spf and spend a little time outdoors every day, you'll get a good tan. Watch your tan lines tho, I've got a nasty farmer's tan rn cuz I forgot

Use sunscreen the way it's intended: apply THICK and well before heading out into the sun.
People tend to apply just a very thin layer, while already in the sun, and that doesn't do SHIT.
Get on a sunbed for 3 minutes a couple of times a week for a month or two. Will build a very light base tan and get your sun-fearing regions a bit more used to UV rays.
don't try to tan idiot. we make fun of pale tourists that try to tan and end up red in Greece lmao. you're just different, nothing wrong with that.

I have a natural tan because I'm central Asian. I can get tanned easy.
Now, pretty much where a t-shirts sleeve would end, i have a really bad divide between relatively pale and tanned skin

i am pale too but not casper mode. I hadnt been out in the sun for 2 years. Last week i was on vacation and i got a nice tan and a little bit sunburn but 3 weeks before that i did 3x10mins solarium. Made a nice base for the natural tan.

I'm a pale guy with some ginger in me and I've gotten relatively tanned this summer because I work outside everyday.
I'm basically outside in direct sunlight for 5-10 minutes at a time, about 14 times a day during the afternoon and evening.
I haven't burned at all (non-blistering sunburn doesn't contribute to cancer in adults btw) and I've gradually gotten darker.
Doesn't matter anyway. As soon as autumn arrives the tan will disappear in a week. You're fighting a losing battle. Just embrace being pale.
