Can someone recommend high protein, high fat foods that are easy to make and don't cost too much?

I don't really care about taste but I can only eat so much cottage cheese and canned mackerel.

Thanks for the input so far but I was more looking for specific recipes.

I have most of the stuff listed at home but I don't really know how to make something edible out of it.

Making chili con carne today with extra beans and ground beef.

Depends what kind of fat you're after

If you genuinely want healthy fats then:

>Hemp seeds
>Chia seeds
>Quinoa
>Lentils
>Most legumes
>Avocado
>Most high protein veg
>Salmon, Mackerel, Herring
>Dark Chocolate
>Kefir
>Coconut
>Most nuts

Explain to me how coconut oil is healthy than butter.

Shit is both saturated fats.
Shit is both lauric acid.

Yet coconuts are magically healthier?
No.

Here is what happens
>saturated fats are unhealthy!
Oh my god, meat fat and butter are bad for you!,
>oh wait.. Being a sedentary fat fuck is unhealthy, saturated fats are beneficial when combined with a healthy lifestyle
Muh coconut oil.

All fats are healthy.

Pufas lower test
Sat fats and mufas help test.

Exercise is what prevents heart disease

Coconut oil contains mostly saturated fat but (when unprocessed) it shows far different results than most other sources of saturated fats in studies. Googling will give a better list of info than I can recall but it's similar to walnuts in that they knew exactly which types of fats were in walnuts but showed vastly different results when actually studied and qualified.

That said, the coconut oil meme is 100% marketing and bullshit and should be treated with healthy scepticism.
>>
>>37944315

First half makes sense although coconut oil's specific fatty acid content makes it raise LDL less than butter, second half your post is just retardation.
>>

Interested in high protein veggies dude.

Lentils, Chick Peas, Black Beans, greek yoghurt are all cheap sources

one my go to cheap meals is
> 1 cup Chick peas
> 1 cup black beans
> 1/2 cup cooked long grain brown rice
> 1/2 cup of salsa

~ 28 proteons
~80 carb
~10 fat

drink 2 scoops of poweder protons with water and a bit of almond milk and olive oil to balace it all out.

Red meat. Trim off any visible fat if that bothers you, it's all you'll ever need for protein.
>>
>>37944561
Oh shit I thought you said low fat. Yeah get those fatty red meats, those fatty fish, full fat cheeses, and full fat milk. Don't fall for the vegan posters trying to meme you into making low protein carb sources a protein staple.
>>
>>37944581

How paranoid can you be? Practically everyone with an expertise in health/nutrition says you should eat lean when it comes to animal protein and be sure to incorporate plant proteins
>>
>>37944403
Soybeans and any other legumes
Edamame and peas
Brocorri, Cauloflower
Any part and type of the bean
Mushrooms
Most leafy greens inc spinach & kale/cabages/brussels
etc
>>
>>37944806
Except that's not what OP is asking about. Recommending shit like lentils and soybeans as high fat, high protein foods is hilariously stupid in this thread.
>>
>>37944871
soybeans have 40% calories from fat
>>
>>37944871

But you did refer to the recommendation to eat lean plant protein as a ''vegan meme''
>>
>>37944922
Because it is. Only a vegan would come into a thread asking for high fat, high protein foods and recommend moderate to low protein and high carb foods.

>>37944915
And they don't even match the protein to calorie ratio of eggs. They're moderate to low protein at best.
>>
>>37942734
Fat is obnoxiously easy to add. Just eat a high protein diet. If you're lacking fat at the end of the day, measure out the appropriate amount of olive oil and gulp it down.
