/fit/ didn't necessarily cause me to buy anything, moreso just adopting a healthier lifestyle has changed my spending habits dramatically. On the money I used to spend on random entertainment, dates, alchohol, gadgets, etc, instead I spend on expanding my homegym and much more diverse foods to meet diet demands. I'm healthier, look better, and have much more to show for that $ spent, so all in all 10/10, would recommend.

literally the only exercise where 8kg is heavy enough, is for wrist rolls/forearm rolls.
