>a slice of pizza with less bread weights about the same as a slice with more bread and has more calories

Am I missing something here?
>>
Maybe there's more toppings on the thin base than the classic.

Classic pizza bread has air pockets in you dunce

Thin base is dense
>>
>>37930702
light and fluffy bread, kinda like an arbitrary volume of fat

vs

heavy and dense bread like thin crust, hard tack and other "crackers", kinda like an arbitrary volume of muscle

theres less air in the thin crust pretty much.

Are you retarded? Density makes no difference to total mass, regarding calories. If the goddamn thing was 3 feet tall because of 'air pockets', it wouldn't make any difference to the calories if it still weighed 63g.
>>

Umm do you know anything about baking bread? Just say no because your post is so dumb
>>
>>37930781
At least I don't think that air adds to the weight lmao.
>>
>>37930789
I never said that, the classic crust is lighter than the thin crust
>>

Air has weight, dummy. Not enough to account for the change in this particular example, but it does have weight. It's a different bread recipe as the guy was saying.

Weigh an empty balloon and then weigh it after you have inflated it. It will be heavier.

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but air DOES add to the weight.

The thick base has more water trapped in the bread, thus a higher percentage of it's weight is a result of water or "calorie-less".
