Assuming you aren't sneaking in bites of this and that, it sounds like you've reached equilibrium/maintenance.

As you lose weight, your TDEE goes down. You burn less calories because your heart doesn't have to work as hard, simply walking around is easier, etc.

Or, you say you're eating 1200-1500... Could it be that when you started, it was more like 1200, but nowadays it's more like 1500?

1500 is pretty normal maintenance if you're short. Try 700-800 a few days a week and you'll see improvements.

I'm a 6' male who cut from 185 to 155 on 1200 and I gotta say it was flat out retarded.

My lifts plummeted and took a month and a bit on a bulk to get back to where they were before the cut.

After my winter bulk I started cutting on 1800 this time and I've gotten back down to 155 but actually shredded this time and without losing my lifts.

There's a max metabolic burn of ~33k/lb bf/day. The closer you get to your goal weight the longer it takes to but off the last few pounds. You should be recalculating your TDEE every six weeks and adjusting from there.

Also, change up your routines. Your body becomes efficient at the exercises you practice. Introduce inefficiencies, not just putting on more mileage.

This place can be such a fucking misleading piece of garbage. Yes, it does exist. And it's not a joke, it can take up to months and even almost a year to rehabilitate your metabolism in severe cases. I used to be anorexic and it took me 2 years to stabilize mine. My TDEE used to be 2600, but now it's 2200 because my body went into a week of starvation mode due to contest prep (first time prep, fucked up) but I'm eating food and lifting as hard a I can to fix the situation. Just a week can affect so much. You becareful

Maybe not "starvation mode" but either way, you should never be at a consistent deficit for more than a couple weeks without going back to maintenance for a week or so.

A chronic calorie deficit crashes the fuck out of your hormones and makes it shit for burning fat/preserving muscle.

And like it or not, but your body has different metabolic pathways depending on its current hormonal profile. At maintenance and at surplus, a good chunk of the protein you eat is used for structural / anabolic purposes - it's not contributing to your energy balance the same as say, a given gram of carbs. But after a period of chronic deficit, your body will quickly begin to use protein more for energy through glucogenisis, meaning that your body will extract more energy overall from your protein, effectively reducing your deficit and leaving you with a slowing or stopping weightloss for a given "deficit".

At that point, it's advisable to return to maintenence for a week or two and return to the original deficit afterwards, rather than to just keep cutting harder.

Tl:Dr; "starvation" mode is a stupid term, but even mild deficits shouldn't be maintained for more than a couple weeks for hormone reasons.

Calories in calories out is accurate for the most part and works for fatties. But part of the issue is that your TDEE changes as your body adapts. You shouldn't keep dropping the deficit to account for your "new" TDEE, but you should instead eat more for a bit to get your TDEE back up.

just to chime in, i was 170 at 6'2 and still looked fat because of a similar case. EC stack for a month then Yohimbe+C for a month with a good clean 750kcal~ deceit and a strength training routine and cardio after knocked it out in 2.5 months fully, no extra skin either.

I also did intermittent fasting (19/5) and my lifts were during fed state between lunch and dinner. Also had at least 2 days where i fucked off the stims and went on a 12k cal binge so coulda been done even sooner without that.
