This is the only real answer.

Either that or roid to high fucking heavens and fill it out with muscle mass.
>>
>>37908701
If you're talking the amount of skin like the pic you posted, then yeah - surgery isi probably the only way.

If it's just a little loose skin, then staying at a low BF percentage, and staying hydrated for a couple years should help it tighten up. Also maybe try some Palmer's Cocoa Firming butter lotion.
>>
>>37908701
What was your starting weight?
Losing too much too fast can do that
>>
>>37908724
it's not too much skin, i'm doing five workouts per week with aerobic exercises at the end, i will try palmer's cocoa firming butter, thanks
>>37908735

>>
>>37908843
This is just my amateur opinion but I would make building muscle your main priority, obviously you can keep doing cardio tho. Just like the other anon said keep hydrated and keep lean for the next year or so and it should be ok. I started out pretty big too (~250, 5'11")
>>
>>37908843
bruh i think youre a time traveler...
>>
>>37908701
If it's as bad as in the picture, get some professional advice.

If it's only a little, stay lean and toned and it will eventually go away.

I'm American too, how do you not know this?
>>
At what weight will loose skin be a problem? I plan on losing about 40lbs. Is there a way to avoid it?
>>
>>37909638
Post pics .

It can't be that bad
>>
>>37911313
There is no exact answer desu.
It depends only on your genetic, some people can get very fat and lose weight with no loose skin at all , others on the other hand will have loose skin.
Just try to lose weight slowly , stay hydrated, drink water even when you are not thirsty.
Vitamin E or Argan oil after shower.
>>
>>37912332
Thanks for the advice.

I dont have rolls of fat on me or anything, but I do have stretch marks around my shoulder/upper chest area, and on my biceps. Figured since i had stretch marks, i might deal with loose skin
>>
>>37908913
As someone who is in the same boat as OP. Actually losing fat first is the most important to tightening loose skin. Most of the fat around the lower stomach and hips will sag and look like shit until you're at like 12%BF and then you'll look way better. I've seen some pics of other anons in the same boat on here and low BF% seems to be the best answer to tightening loose skin.

I'm trying to get down to like 10% BF right now and then I'll start bulking. Losing fat is #1 priority for me. And I went from 275-> 175 -> now like 180 and that 5lbs is probably all muscle as I lost BF%.

Stop asking for advice with your stats and post pics, it's probably your body dysmorphia acting up

you look fine, your arms are just flabby because you have no muscle
>>
>>37912913
You think you have any problem? That look perfectly fine and you weren't as "fat" as you think you were.
>>
>>37912913
From the pic the seems like the chest area would be the problem but no ,its not that bad at all not even mentioning surgery.
Try to not get fat like you were before ,build muscle under that skin and you'll be fine .
Also always takecare of your skin.
Oh btw of you have stretch marks and they aren't very big a lilbit of tan will make them not almost invisible. It worked for me

Dude lift fill that fucker up with muscles as other anons say for losing that much in so little time you look tip top not even compared to the pic at your first post.

"loose skin" is adipose tissue, aka fat. You lose it the same way you lost all the previous fat, except that when you're lighter you have to consume even less calories to lose weight.
>>
>>37912913
What little looseness you have will tighten in time.

Lotion the problem areas.

Eat lots of collagen.

yup this is my primary fear while im losing weight im about 250 now, and im planning to lose about 90 pounds in the next 3-6 months

and the thing about your body is, the damage is done, you cant reverse it at all. like nothing, you can only hope your skin rebounds and your skin is healthy and young enough to not be stretched to shit

the thing i use after every workout is pic related
massage that shit all over my muscles because i used to get stretch marks from working out too much and that helped
also check out about diets, but it looks like youve fucked up and already went from point A to B without considering the consequences, probably talk to a doctor, and consider surgery
>>
>>37913385
Nigga I'm 6'2", I was 285 in that before picture
>>
>>37912913
You know you're still pretty chubby right? You're around 18% bodyfat. It's pretty hard to tell what's skin and what's fat until you really get lean.
>>
>>37912913
nigga you aren't even lean yet. I mean great progress and all, but glamour angle + sweat + flex and still not looking defined? You can lose a lot more fat; evaluate your loose skin then.

It can take up to two years for loose skin to full retract. There are a couple things you can do to help it along:

>Wear compression clothing
The less time it's fighting against gravity the easier it can snap back
>Stay hydrated/apply moisturizing lotion
While firming butter provides the most marginal benefit, it's really keeping your skin hydrated and healthy that does it. Make sure you're drinking the water you need.
>Dramatically increase your dietary collagen intake
Your skin is made from gelatin/collagen - and if you're eating the standard western diet you're severely lacking in this department. Bone broth soup/demiglace/hydrolyzed collagen powder are where it's at.

It also depends on how your fat is deposited. Do you have rolls or flaps? If it's the former, and your skin is healthy, it will snap back relatively quickly. As soon as you develop that fold/flap, as soon as there's overhanging skin, you're fucked - though this is super morbidly obese territory.

Finally, just own your loose skin. Don't be ashamed of it, don't let it drag you down, 95% of the time no one will give a shit about it.

>pic related

That's what I'm working with, though I'm 45 pounds lighter then I was in that pic.

When people give me shit I just tell them I used to sumo wrestle and I ain't about that life no more.

I am 170 down from 265

My loose skin tightened up as quick as i manufactured it, because i supplimented collagen like a motherfucker (in addition to eating more - as i eat wild caught moose i have access to hella tendons and similar material i didnt used to eat) and i would lotion any spot that got stretch marks,

Only 2 years ago i was obese, and all i have to show for it is a slightly droopy bellybutton, but even that is starting to go away (it isnt as droopy in the morning when i wake up, compared to late at night before i go to bed, this is what i observed in all my other loose skin).

Your shit WILL shrink up eventually.

As long as it isnt so loose that the gravitational pull on the sagging skin doesnt stretch your skin even more, it is reversible.

Moisturization helps 100%

Collagen might be placebo, but i swear it helps. It surely cant hurt.

For extreme cases, they can do dermal needling with gh serum and similar things, but that is for borderline surgery amounts of loose skin.

The guy in the OP is 10000000% fucked without surgery.

But if you arent cutting 350lb or more, that shit isnt a huge concern
>>
>>37914237
>When people give me shit

You lost 100lb over 2 years and still got loose skin?

Fuck this gay earth
>>
>>37914317

Little to none. Most people don't notice it, and those who do freak out when I show them pictures of myself at 430 - there's a lot of admiration for a dude who dropped 205 pounds, you feel me? That's a grown-ass man.

That 1 in 20 is just some dude who's dealing with his own shit. When you own it it doesn't matter what that dude thinks. Hell, I've put on a pterodactyl mask and gone around flapping my bingo-wings while squawking.

>>37914257
>>37914276

Much love, brothers.

>>37914311

This dude's got it. That collagen is no joke.

If you don't have access to wild fucking moose (that shit's legit, brother - especially if you're taking down those beasts yourself) chicken wings and wing-tips are a good go-to.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EX82bjwF1wI

It's a bit of work but if you've already busted your ass to lose the weight that shit is nothing new to you.

>>37914404
Nah i am a terrible shot.
I let a decrepit old man take em down be ause he is a goddamn sniper.

I do the butchering and hauling generally.
>>
>>37914354
it''s genetics not how fast you lose it. Some people have better elasticity in their skin
>>
>>37914415

That's still legit, hauling around a damn moose. A far sight better then us city-folk who don't even know where hamburger comes from.
>>
i left this thread for like 5 minutes and people are talking about hunting and eating moose
