DYEL here. Is there any reason not to go to failure on every set?

not necessary. progressive tension overload is all you need for gains, much more than that just means extra recovery

If you train to failure, you failure to train.

Greetings reddit.
I train to failure with every exercise, especially legs, my legs grow like shit if I don't rekt them every leg workout
>>37669899
Don't do that.
it may make recovery difficult and lead to "overtraining" or making less strength gains, but it depends

Fine as a DYEL. Will eventually become more difficult and counterintuitive. What program?
Technically the weight should be heavy enough that you almost fail on your last rep.
But you shouldn't go to failure each set, instead do the rep range you need
