Why is there the dichotomy between Aesthetics and Strength?

My main goal is, sincerely, not to have to spend hours at the doctor with 50. (I'm 30, not a 21yo virgin now. Let's be honest, the women like it as soon as you're thin with broader shoulders than 90% of other men.)

Being flexible is more important than big arms to me. What would I have to adjust to integrate this perspective?
Not like I'm clueless, but what I do now is far removed from an Aesthetics-crew clique, and I miss the social motivating aspect.

It really depends on how far gone you are, like for me i finished high school with absolutely no clue how to interact with women and certainly not how to make a move. If you're in my position or you're just trying to improve you can use PUA as a crutch but nothing more, use what you read as a framework to build your own personality around. It will teach you the basics. The more natural ("you") the approach is the better. Also it improves your inner state of mind, helps you to rationalise and feel less anxious/nervous when interacting with women and very soon tfw no gf, won't be a feel.

Read Mark mansons models and book of pook they are god tier for PU. Also watch simple pick up on youtube some of thier advice is very good but treat it with a pinch of salt. Read other books like How to win freinds and influence people, no more mr nice guy and watch videos like Charisma on command on youtube, this will inprove your overall day to day interactions with eveybody and help to make you more charismatic and charming.

How would Push A and Push B differ for you? Just Bench first on A and OHP afterwards? Then for B do OHP first, then Bench?
I do the main heavy compounds for each movement first followed by a couple accessories.
I'm doing mine just Bench then OHP for each push day. Then deadlift-->row for pull and squats for legs.

I don't really follow a 'routine' like greyskull or SS or w/e, totally made my own at this point. But for the past 6 months roughly, I do stuff like this:

Day 1:

-Back Squat 5x8-3 (heavy)
-Single Leg extension 5x12-8 (point your foot slightly outwards to hit vastus medialis/sartorius)
-Leg press 5x8-3 (heavy)
-Weighted lunge (I walk the length of a studio 6-8 times)
-standing biceps curls 4x12-8
-concentration curls 4x15-10 (cables, DB, BB vary it, focus on the movement)
-reverse BB curls 4x12-10
-Seated calf raises between sets

Day 2:

-Bench 5x10-4 (heavy, mostly BB but sometimes DB)
-incline DB press 5x12-8
-flies 5x15-10 (incline, flat, DB, machine, cables, etc... I switch it up every week)
- weighted dips 4x12-8 (lean forward slightly, keep elbows pointed out to feel it in chest, go low)
-low cable crossover 5x15-10 (my go-to chest exercise. Along with DB pullovers, these are hugely underrated)
- abs (knees to chest, hanging leg raise, ab wheel)

Day 3: (this day is hard af, use PWO or eat like a horse before)

-Deadlift 6x10-3 (volume, i switch between sumo and conventional)
-Kneeling leg curl 5x15-10
-seated leg curl 5x12-8
-weighted hyperextensions 4x12-10
-weighted pull-ups/chin-ups 6x12-6
-lat pull-down 5x12-8 (vary the grip, wide, close, use different attachments)
-Rows 5x12x8 (again vary, DB, seated, vary the grips, sometimes one-arm, etc...)

Day 4:

-the press 5x12-6 (military, DB)
-side-cable raises 5x12-8
-rear-delt fly 5x12-8 (cables, leaning forward with DB, sit backwards on pec-deck)
-lateral raise 5x12-8 (this is the go-to delt exercise. start with the machine, one arm at a time, slow, controlled movement)
-DB lateral raise 6x12-8 (make them fucking count. this is where your delts grow)
-facepulls 5x12x8
-CGBP 4x12-8 (heavy)
-tricep pushdown 6x15-10 (use the testicle cable and make sure you spread at the bottom. Using a bar is a waste)

Day 5:

-back squat 7x15-10 (volume. Try not to lock out the rep, time under tension is key here)
-split squats/step-ups/lunges (some kind of quad exercise, I vary it)
-Bench 6x15x12 (volume again)
-incline DB press 5x12-8
-DB pullovers 5x12-8
- abs (knees to chest, hanging leg raise, ab wheel)

Day 6:

-Deadlift 4x6-1 (heavy, mostly conventional)
-leg curl/back extension/rack pull (something to complement the posterior chain)
-weighted pull-ups/chin-ups 6x12-6
-lat pushdowns 5x12x8 (these isolate lats well, like a tricep pushdown with your arms locked)
-BB rows 5x12x8
-Seated calf raises between sets


I don't follow this word for word, but this is basically what I do in the gym. I don't cardio at the gym often, I'd rather bike or play sports. I don't train at home on top of this, like I used to. I used to do push-ups, light DB stuff, ab stuff, etc... but now I just rest when I'm not in the gym or doing cardio.

But honestly telling a new lifter (most people who come here striving for aesthetics usually fall into this category) he needs anything beyond the simple staples (Creatine, Fish Oil, Multi-V, preworkout and protein shakes optional if needed) is an invite for disappointment and wasted money/time/tears.

I always have my next 6-12 months planned in excel with checkpoints/milestones noted and such. Basic summary at this point is:

1. Continue maintenance at this bf/weight until September.
2. Lean bulk @ +300 through Dec
3. (Optional quick 2-3 recomp in Dec based on how my physique looks)
4. Continue Lean Bulk peaking in April.
5. Projected cut from 12-14% back down to single digits again, should only take 4-6 weeks.

Regarding the weed...it's my substitute for alchohol. Haven't had a drop in probably 6 months. Infinitely healthier than alcohol, and zero cals ftw.
