I usually carb up with oatmeal before I lift.
Recently I've also been sipping Gatorade during my workout and its definitely made a difference. After dead lifting my blood sugars tapers down real quick to where I'm running on empty towards the end.
Gatorade keeps glycogen levels up and I have a great even level of energy for my entire workout.
It's not even that much sugar. 120 calories and 30 carbs burns up real fucking fast if you aren't lifting like a pussy.
