Is 1 day rest enough for a muscle group to recover? I'm not going to cripple myself by doing triceps/chest too many times a week am I?

I like to keep it 2 days apart. I do chest/tris, back/bis, legs/abs and repeat.
i train every single body-part 3 times a week
4+ years lifting
no problem with recovery
I really like doing chest and tri so I always sneak a cheeky chest/tri workout in each day and jave been told its no good for the muscles. Is this just a meme

I train every other day
If I am sore after training i might give it 2 day until the soreness goes away but I almost always do it one day
I also rotate the muscles i hit the hardest so if i hit arms the hardest 1 day after my rest day i will hit legs hard.

not him but it's called a proper diet + rest spas boi.

Only your body knows the answer. Pay attention to what it says and you should be fine. If after a day of rest, you're getting signals not to lift and that you need more rest then don't lift. If those signals arent there then keep going. Many people like Arnold Schwarzenegger lifted daily with no issue.

Arnold was on roids and did a retarded split, not really relevant
1 rest day is enough OP

I do chest/back, shoulders/arms, legs/core
I find arms have a very very quick recovery time compared to basically everything else if not isolated so doing some rows and presses doesn't cuck my arm isolations
