How much do you spend on food per month
I spend about $50 a week for myself. I cook everything myself and look for coupons/deals.

150-200€.
I aim for $300 or less, bulkan skelly, eat some organic stuff when I notice a difference vs conventional. Probably usually comes down more like $200 or $250 a month, midwest U.S. Half gal of milk a day on average probably puts it closer to $300 again, now that I think of it.
Depends on what I feel like buying. Usually around $300-400/mo for my wife and me.
I also tend to piss away like $300 on restaurants every month.

That's dumb

14 Bananas (like 6 pounds) $3.00
36 Strawberries (like 4 pounds) $4.00
36 Eggs $7.00
3 pounds of chicken $7.50
3 pounds of pork $6.00
1 pound of fish $2.50
3 tomatoes $1.50
2 onions $1.80
7 cups of pasta $2.50
7 cups of rice $ fucking pennies
7 cups of frozen vegetables $4.50
7 cups of beans $2.00
So like $45 ish I guess. I buy other things but this is my ideal poorman healthy diet. I tend to drink filtered tap water and tea which alleviates a lot of expenses on buying drinks. When I do buy a drink, it's something with really high sugar like lemonade that I add to my water to flavor it. Then I widdle it down over several weeks. Ideally you'd want to diversify all of your main food categories (protein, fruit/veg, grain) and also include foods high in gut floral bacteria (yogurt, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles), but that begins to up the weekly budget a bit depending on exactly how diverse your diet is. I always have sauerkraut and pickles on hand. This general guideline will focus on stocking up your house with large amounts of food, which would probably be difficult to consume it all within a week but it's better than not having enough food. Just remember to rotate from the freezer to the fridge regularly. I also take 2 trips to the store weekly and I try to buy about half the list each time.
I lied I don't do any of these things. But this is a guideline I have for myself, I'm just not disciplined enough to follow it.

Make your own kombucha, get all the gut bacteria at almost no added cost.
I'll be 100% honest, I spend about $800-1000 monthly on food. Been trying to cut that down a bit recently but basically spent that much for at least 6 months
400, skelly bulking in shit country
