Yes, IQ may be an 'indicator' in the sense that clearly a retard is not going to do as well as Einstein - but that does not mean that a 5-10 point difference correlates to an equivalent cognitive difference, or that intelligence can quantified or even be measured at all. Hell people have been shown to do up 20 points or more better on tests by just eating better and practicing puzzles a bit.
There's also the question of "why": even if a difference in intelligence IS proven it doesn't mean that it's inate or genetic. 75% is the estimation of the Americal Psychological Association (here I think https://www.mensa.ch/sites/default/files/Intelligence_Neisser1996.pdf, cited 2464 times) and 80% is Rushton and Jensen's one (https://www1.udel.edu/educ/gottfredson/30years/Rushton-Jensen30years.pdf, cited 383 times). There's no solid counter study to disprove that too my knowledge.

What that does mean is that IQ is meaningful regarding a lot of topics and you're not denying that. I mean, would IQ have absolutely nothing to do with intelligence, it still would be a good indicator of how one performs socially since it's linked, as you've probably read from what I said, to how one performs on various subjects (degree level, criminality, etc). I'm sorry if I'm not correctly expressing what I want to say, once again I'm not a native english speaker, I feel like I'm a bit confusing.

The fact they've done the test the previous time and did again to calculate the before/after difference may have factored I guess, was this adressed in the study you're talking about? I'm pretty sure if I had to do another IQ test today I'd perform a bit better than I did previously without specific training.

I've adressed that already in that post. It's 75% genetic and has a correlation of 0.4 with brain size, which is also genetic (and races have different average brain sizes).
Finally, I totally agree with you that it have nothing to do with being "better", or "superior", or "worthless", etc. One can be dumb as fuck and still be a good, hard working member of the community.

Still, if races are proven to be inequal regarding to IQ (and they are, I hope you'll realize that with the mega folder I've provided) we do have to factor how, in a society, a community of less intelligent people would have an impact. Low IQ is linked with adultery, criminality, lower income, basically everything you can think of. Mass immigration is a threat to our societies, both as cultures that might not assimilate and as a biologically detrimental import that will lower our safety standards.
I just want to note that we're talking about average obviously, it's possible that the most intelligent man to ever live was an African. Still, on average, Africans have lower IQ and we have to factor that in how we want to build our society.
