>>37491671
Typically no - too much sodium/calorie
>le ebin bread meme
>>37491690

>>37491744
Grilled chicken breast with a side of lightly steamed broccoli, cauliflower, kale or arugula.

You've been memed, kiddo.

Can I fit in activated almonds after?

Trips of truth.

whole grain bread is better than most other carbohydrates 2bh, apart from vegetables.
Oatmeal, Eggs + Tuna, Chicken + Broccoli
>>37491744
Depends really. There is no "best" food, but there are a lot of good foods. Off the top of my head:
>Chicken
>Fish
>Oats
>Milk/Greek Yogurt/etc.
>Olive Oil
Any side works (potatoes, macaroni, rice), and salads/fruits are always good for micros and extra calories

but even with salt and seasoning this option is so bland, even though its absolutely healthy
a sandwich like pic related in OP is relatively healthy, and probably no more than roughly 500 calories
we need sodium in our diet :)
>>37491690
sodium isn't inherently bad for you.
Bread generally has less than 150 mg per slice, and if i recall correctly most people can have up to 2,000-2,300 mg per day without any problems.

It's just so easy to get. I agree a sandwich like that isn't bad by itself, but from drinking several cups of milk a day to eating a granola bar to whatever, that sodium just stacks on like a motherfucker because it's everywhere.
It's all about planning and keeping the Na in check

>deli meat
Have you seen how ridiculously salty that shit is? It's not even funny!
>>37491671
>bread
>food
heh thats what u think virginia
sandwiches like pc related are balanced and a perfectly healthy choice
>>37491812
You're implying food is suppose to be enjoyable.
Food is just a number for me.

Yeah, canned salmon also has quite a lot, especially if it's smoked; but I have 2 cans of salmon per day, a few slices of bread and I'm still a bit under the (ideal) maximum sodium intake.

Not the guy you replied to but I also eat for the feeling *after* the meal, not during; but it's still better if the healthy food you're eating tastes good as well.
