I'm a poor but I want to lift. I've been thinking about just filling up gallon jugs with water or sand. Anyone know any other substances I can use to add more weight?

sand is much heavier than water, but wet sand is even heavier

How poor are u?
Lifting isn't expensive.
I built a FULLY DECKED OUT home gym on NEET bux in my parents house.

15g of sand weighs the same as 2g of water
And once the sand is wet you multiply it so:
15g of sand * 2g of water = 30g

Buying things with neetbux is easy cause you literally have no other expenses if you live with your parents
All your income is disposable

I can't afford to buy weights and I can't fit in a gym membership with my current work schedule. Are there any places I could get weights for cheap?
>>37489557
This is true. my parents don't make me pay for anything.

maybe you should try something like this instead?

This OP
Bodyweight will probably give you the same amount of benefit at low cost.

>i cant fit in a gym with my current work schedule
Excuses, the post
What you need to do OP is
3x5 clean rooms (10 GBPs x 15 = 150 GBPs)
2x5 showers (5 GBPs x 10 = 50 GBPs)
1x30 schools (20 GBPs x 30 = 600 GBPs)
That is a total of 800 GBPs
Now, since you are getting fit, you won't need to trade these for tendies, and you can put them all towards a simple rack, barbell, and weights. Mommy will also be very proud, which a bonus.

I'm paraphrasing but there is a saying that if you can't afford a gym membership you have bigger things to be worrying about .

It's more than the membership, I think food is expensive as well

Google start bodyweight.

You can get buckets from home depot for like 3 bucks. Then get a metal pole. Next go out in the woods and find 2 trees near each other, saw slits for the pole. Maybe a stump for the bench presses?
