So apparently if you combine certain plant based protein sources together, you can get a complete amino-acid profile. I am planning to eat canned beans and nuts today. How do I find out how much beans I would need to complete the protein in the nuts? Do I have to eat each of them in equal amounts?

I opened another thread a few hours ago but it got archived. It seems my threads just don't bump.

I put everything I ate in a day into cronometer once and I had a complete profile. There was no meat, diary or eggs, protein mainly came from rice and black beans

Anyway you can use cronometer to check that kinda stuff

Legumes/Pulses + Whole Grain

So lentils + rice, beans + rice, chickpeas + wholegrain flat bread

It's why these foods when eaten by their indigenous culture are always combines in this way.
