well yeah Marshalltown sucks. Des Moines is pretty great though. It's got a lot of the things going for it but lacks the shitty things about big cities: rampant crime poverty etc. I guess I should have specified.
It's not going to have all the things a large city has, but it's comfy as fuark. Just saying there are options out there. I don't know why people insist in living in places with high costs of living where the pay doesn't reflect that i.e. New York, LA etc. You can make decent money here and buy a house in your 20s.
