A racket maybe, since you can make your own (caffeine, B12, beta-alanine) for cheaper, but they really do work. If I don't have a scoop before I lift I feel lifeless and emasculated
They are basically just caffeine. As such, you will build up a tolerance to them.

Two caffeine pills, a b12 pill and a teaspoon of sugar. It makes more sense to take all that straight with water instead of grinding it up into powder though.

One tablespoon coffee grounds per cup of water. Works best if you have a coffee pot, but as long as you have something like a sturdy paper towel to use as a filter you can make this preworkout yourself at home.
