because you're a guy and it's the first place guys store fat and the last place they lose it.
my advice is to forget about your "lower abs" and get big and strong instead. trying to reach that level of leanness just fucks up your gains, progress and performance.

Well I've been lifting for 7 months and i can bench 170, squat 270, ohp 110, and diddly 280. I'm just not very heavy, haven't changed much about my diet except cutting out all soda and ice cream shit
