In the U.S. the average height (for men) is 5'9" to 5'10". We're average height, which means 50% of dudes are gonna be taller than us, but it'll seem like more because we notice that more. Wear boots if it bothers you that much. I got some red wings for my job; they make me like 2 inches taller.
