Why do people half rep?
Saw a retard half repping one plate with awful form today, bar wasn't parallel, couldn't believe it. He was also really loud. I thought people like that only existed in fit memes.

half reps are a little silly but if I lower the bar to an inch or two above my chest I feel like it works my chest better than going all the way down

This might be because you bounce the weight off your chest. Try to hold it there for half a second before coming back up.
