for 10-15 min before lifting: mostly rolling, a little stretching
lift
for 15-30 min after lifting: a little rolling, mostly stretching

On non-lifting days:
10 min rolling
10-20 min stretching

I have, it's no secret. My dead and squat flew up and bench, like many long arm fags, was a struggle. Doing that routine I had to do it, and I didn't enjoy it.

My point was just that it doesn't always hinder weightlifters to bench and can be of benefit. Personally I don't feel like it would help me now, other than gain some more mass on my chest which I can live without. If I'm ever at a point where the coach writing my programs thinks it's needed, I'll do it.

I'd say squat jerk is harder, but it depends on the person.
Lu says he can't split jerk as much as he squat jerks, for example.

The thing is, squat jerks allow you to go deeper, so the bar doesn't have to go up as high. Your lower body is also stronger in a squat than in a split.
But Split Jerks feel more "stable". As in, it's easier to "fight the bar" to keep your balance, and you can do it "in steps" (an extreme example, but see >>37304352 )
With the squat jerk, if you start to fail, you'll simply fail. You HAVE to stay balanced. And it's harder to get that balance, because you have less "front-back" support.

The bar is also further up than in a snatch, because of the narrower grip, so it makes balancing even harder because the moment arm is longer. Though your muscles are in a stronger position.

You're misunderstanding the issue. The limiting factor is not your lowerbody. If you lower the bar to your traps or rear delts, you'd be able to back squat it up with a lot more ease.
Same reason why you can't front squat as much as you back squat.

Yes it requires more lowerbody strength than a split jerk. Because the ROM is longer.

Depends on where you're lacking mobility.
For squats, in general, the biggest problem people have is ankle mobility. Weightlifting shoes and stretching usually fixes it for the most part.

But yes, these things can take a while. You have to be consistent with them and be patient.

I got 2 questions guys.

Does slowing a squat descent make your legs bigger over time?

1. Is it a good idea to slow my squats to improve them? I took my usual 5x5 today -5kg. Normally my knees never feel like they push forward, maybe a weakness or something?

2. Today I did a 2-3s descent then explode up and I was really focusing on keeping my weight on midfoot/towards front so I could push my knees forward and stop my hips from leading everywhere and the weight felt easy out of the bottom.

Does this actually do something? It felt like it did.

I think that's good, actually. 75+ was never a thing, everyone there is 90+.
85+ seems way better for taller women to be able to compete in 85 without having to go SHW ayyy lmao mode, and actually look athletic.
There's of course the downside that women's events don't have as much public - but now with the growing of crossfit and interest in WL this might start to change.
