The definition of anorexia is "a lack or loss of appetite". Nothing to do with fat here, just an inability to eat/constant lack of appetite.
The definition of anorexia nervosa is "wilful obsession with losing weight by refusing to eat". This is a mental health condition.
Bulimia, technically bulimia nervosa is another emotional condition that drives people to binge eat, followed by a purge to prevent weight gain.
Nothing in any of these definitions prevent them from applying to fatties. /fit/ may well laugh and say "fatty needs to lose weight anyway", but it's still unhealthy and it still fucks people up. Once a fatty's mental state is restored (and they'd likely feed them well in a psych ward, anyway), they can be refocused on proper diet and exercise to lose excess weight to a healthy range.

No I know but I was referring to fatties who claim to be Anorexic because they hate their bodies and skipped eating for a day. Its not.considered a.problem of anorexia in the DSM unless you've been struggling with it.for a while (I think its like 3 weeks or something) and it starts to affect your life and those around you. Being this as it is, a fat person who is truly anorexic long enough to be diagnosed as such, and has had it long enough for it to negatively affect other aspects of their life, the chances of finding a true anoreixc that's overweight are slim to none (pun intended). At most they're still in the healthy category of weight. Going on a week long depression infused binge of not eating is not anorexia, which is what most of these cows seem to get wrong. A DSM diagnosis required a substantial pattern of behavioral over a period of time; by definition they will lose weight (not necessarily fat) if they are anorexic
