Anybody know how many calories are in a whole roasted chicken from Kroger? I'm talking skin and all the meat. A lot easier for me to just buy one of these everyday and tastes better than cooking it myself.

That info should be online. But not here

What is the advantage of buying this over fresh chicken? It looks nasty

costco chickens are better and cheaper i think. but calories are at least 800-900 minus the skin for that size posted

I work in a similar grocery store kitchen where we cook the same kind of chicken. I can confirm, it is garbage. Buy and roast your own chicken

i dunno, i go to market of choice sometimes (eugene!) and see the racks of chickens being roasted.. so i know they're fresh, and there's no way i could as good of a job, or make them as economically.
also they're about 10 bucks each, which is a pretty good fucking deal considering the 2 or 3 meals i get from one.

heh. the 5'11 200 pound variety :(
just because one can devour an entire chicken in sitting doesn't mean they should.
