Because if you're doing it right you will reach a point way before 30 where it becomes increasingly harder to make gains. You may not be right at your limit but the closer you get to it, the harder it becomes. I've still got a bit to go before I get on, but i'm not wasting 5-6 years making very minimal gains just to wait till I hit the arbitrary age 30 people always throw around.
