Anyone on /fit/ have some sleeping issues or getting to sleep issues?

I usually feel tired all day and tell myself Im going to sleep early but when 10pm rolls in Im awake more than ever.

Does /fit/ have any experience using Zzzquil? Any effects on progress if I do start using it?

Try it out. Worst that can happen is you'll feel a little groggy in the morning. I use it to overcome jetlag.

Bump because having same problem currently. I've been using 2.5mg melatonin for 3 months now and it seems less effective then when I started.

Yeah it's not bad. Definitely don't use NyQuil because it has pain-killers which fuck up your liver. ZzzQuil is good for those rough nights. Prepare for a difficult morning though, you'll be a lot groggier than normal for the first 30-40 mins of the day.

Also, you're not supposed to use it regularly. I made the mistake of taking a dose per night for about a month and started feeling like complete shit for entire 12 hour spans during the day. It fucks up your rhythm if you overdo it.

It works for me. Maybe too well. Went from getting 0-4 hours of a sleep to getting 9-10. It also does wonders if you're doing no fap. It's non-addictive but I've been taking it 6 nights a week. Have seen zero negative effects.

That's my experience.

I hope that you retards aren't actually buying Zzzquil. You're paying way too much for the active ingredient diphenhydramine, which is literally cheap as fuck generic Benadryl.

Take melatonin instead. Its far cheaper, non habit forming and doesn't leave you feeling groggy when you wake up

Melatonin definitely makes you feel groggy when you wake up. I had to stop taking that shit because it made me feel like I had been gangraped and then hit by a semi-truck every time I woke up in the morning. And that shit is persistent, don't feel awake until like noon.

Go to Costco and buy their Sleep-Aid, it's literally $7 for like 200 pills, and I cut them in half. They're pretty strong

I work 12 hour shifts, starting at 2am 3-4 days a week.I only need ~5 hours of sleep to feel rested, but its hard to stay on schedule on my off days, which means I need to be asleep by 9pm, which hardly ever happens.

Co-workers suggested I try Zzzquil, some can't sleep without it, but I think its more of a psychological thing. Every time I try it I don't have any easier time going to sleep and when I wake up I feel groggy for the next few hours.

I've found a better method is to physically exhaust myself every day. Working out for about 90min as soon as I'm off work and then running about ~3miles before I go to sleep. Although I believe my sleeping problems come more from racing thoughts than anythign else.
