Wtf is happening to me /fit/, why am I such a creep?

>throwing out garbage
>hear girls talking in the backyard across from me
>I peak over the fence
>one of them notice me and points me out to the rest of the group
>I raise a hand up and say hey with this creep smile on
>they laugh and say hey back
>I'm leaning there on the fence just smiling for like 10 seconds
>they start looking at each other smiling and trying to hold back laughter
>one of them finally asks me what's up
>haha I don't know, I kinda just heard girls and came over. Didn't really think about what I was gonna say haha

>pull myself up over the fence trying to hop over and talk to them closer
>I forget to let go and I take the whole fence down with me

Wtf do I do? I feel so fucking embarrassed about the whole thing, I really don't think I can face them again. But at the same time I really wanna pay that guy back for his fence.

I think creatine is a well regarded supplement. It increases your ability to do work during a lifting session which means better gains. It's well researched actually. It can add some water retention and bloat but this goes away if you stop using it. It's a component of many pre workout powders but you can buy it much cheaper as a bulk powder and just add it to water yourself.

It kinda is. This was the first time I've ever approached girls, it's just not me, ever since I've started lifting I've been a lot more ballsy. I've actually started swearing in front of my dad now.

Can you explain amino acids in layman's terms? From my understanding it's just breaking down protein into smaller categories, am I right? And which branches are the most important?

If amino acids are letters, proteins are sentences. Every protein in our body from ion transporters to hemoglobin is made up of a unique string of thousands or tens of thousands of amino acids. When you eat protein your body releases enzymes that chop the protein up into single amino acids and these are absorbed one at a time across your intestine.

Eating meat or other complete sources of amino acids means you get all of them. If you only eat vegetables it's possible to have a diet which lacks some amino acids and this can be very bad. But eggs and milk are also complete sources, with all 20 amino acids we need.

There are other types of amino acids like BCAA but that's not really important. It's just a special mix of a few amino acids in particular (you would get these anyway in a complete protein source like whey, meat, etc) that some bodybuilders use. Allegedly they reduce muscle loss when cutting on a diet, but I don't know to be honest.
