>tfw father has prostate cancer
Does anyone know how to deal with these feels and how to reduce my own risk?
Stimulate the prostate more using your male friends fist

does it run in your family?
what's his diet like?
does he have a lot of stress?
does he have an active lifestyle?
Easily survivable if they remove it. My dad had it.

Unless it's in a very advanced stage, he'll survive for sure.
>how to reduce my own risk?
Just check with your doc regularly once you're of age, and let him know your father had it.
it's usually a pretty slow cancer, chances are you'll detect it early and be good.

Well the thing is; we just realized he had it and its gotten to the point where he had trouble walking. Is this considered advance stage?

A med student I know told me you'll probably die of something else before you'll die of the prostate cancer, so yeah

Grandad died of prostate cancer last year.
I actually saw him take his last breath.
It wasn't pretty, OP.
Be strong.

my grandfather died of the same in early April, went to see him in hospital a few days before he died, I could barely recognize him, he hadn't slept in days for whatever reason and his digestive system was so broken down that he could barely eat, he had basically withered away over a few months. It may sound wrong, but I'm glad his suffering is over. You don't really understand how awful cancer is until it happens closely to you.

>ask him if I should come to him monthly for prostate exams
>"Monthly? Haha anon you're such a joker. This doesn't have to be that frequent"

Accept the inevitability of death, both your own and that of your loved ones.
Live on secure in knowledge that it's all irrelevant.
