Anyways, OP, I use adipowers. I got them when my squat was about 3.5pl8, now I'm about about 4.5 pl8 and should be hitting 5+ soon. The raised heel is nice but the stable platform they give is the best part.

I personally make it a point to step on people feet by "accident" when they walk around with no shoes on. Then after I apologize I give them a wink and firm punch to the gut. Watch them curl up in fear as I stroke their nipples and cut off their left foot. Long story short, barefoot squats are for dogs, and homeless people. If you are neither please don't squat barefoot.
