as another female i think its best to build up your muscles until you have bulked out a bit then slowly cut calories. the muscels will make your metabolisim faster. cardio is probably healthier for lossing weight, but less effective in my expirence if you really want to get skinny. the key is to be consistant about cutting and dont rush the process.

She isn't wrong. More mass you have, the more calories you require a day to maintain. Also, small girls who want to cut may have to really sit low in calories, like at 1200. Go much lower than that and you can get negative sides. It sounds smart to put on some mass and cut with cardio so you can still eat enough to hit all your macro/micro requirements.
