300 to 200lbs.
Will there be saggy skin? I went from 240lbs - 170lbs a few years ago without any.
>>
>>36864955
It took me about 15 months, but I purposely slowed down towards the end. Most of it was at 2 pounds per week, which would be less than a year if you stuck with it.
>>
My dad has lost 90 lbs in about a year

He's also 69 years old and gets all of his exercise from walking in the morning. Eats mostly salads now
>>
>>36864955
Maybe you won't have saggy skin. The older you get, the less elastin (stretchy) and more collagen (stiff) connective tissue you have.

Expect it to take about a year to lose 100 lbs.
>>
>>36864971
Cardio only? Diet only? Did you lift as well? Thanks for your time. I binged on drugs and food for a year assuming I was going to blow my brains out at the end but alas i'm at the end changed my mind.

Did you have saggy skin after going from 300lbs-200lbs?
>>
>>36864980
Did he get saggy belly skin afterwords? Any idea? Thanks.
>>
will you get saggy skin after losing 100lbs?

almost 100% yes you'll have some.

how long? probably ~ 12 months
>>
>>36864985
Thanks. I'm 25 I assume that's young enough to hopefully avoid it?
>>
>>36865004
I don't know. I haven't seen him shirtless in probably 15 years
>>
>>36864990
1000 Cal deficit and lifting.
People say it's 90% diet. I say it's at least 95%.
>>
>>36865020

You'll have loose skin, m8. You need to start coming to terms with that now. 100lbs is WELL beyond the reasonable limit of avoiding loose skin unless you're a complete genetic abnormality.
>>
Tbh you'll probably have some loose skin. And it all depends how hard you go i lost 50lbs over the last 3 months on a 1k cal diet of like 90% protien and went hard lifting and 1 hour of cardio a day. My met is probably fucked but i dont regret it rn. i was at 225 when i started so you being way bigger should be easier to start.
>>

>Did you have saggy skin after going from 300lbs-200lbs?
170-180ish now. Yeah I have some loose skin where my belly and man-tits used to be, but it's slowly getting better.
>>
>>36865043
whats a reasonable limit?
>>
>>36865059
>>36865043
>>36865055
Fuck me I figured I was reaching the point where the loose skin would maybe start. I already have stretch marks on my arms, I managed to put on that 100lbs in less than 6 months oddly. Oh well.
>>
Holy fuck hope you enjoyed all the food because it is going to be one hell of a road down, and will be easy to relaspe
>>
>>36865064

People have posted pictures of themselves getting loose skin after losing just 45lbs, bro.

But I would say anywhere over 60lbs you're pushing the limits.
>>
>>36865074

100lbs is the point where it's an 100% inevitable certainty you'll have some loose skin.
>>
I'm hoping to get down to 150lbs which will be 75lbs lost doesn't seem like i will but i'm also 19 soo. Also if you want you could take collegon sups to possibly help
>>
I went from 280 to 180 in 10 months
I'm 5'8'' and was 20 when I did it
I have some loose skin, but it isn't that bad

I can pull my arm skin quite a bit and same with my thighs
It isn't that noticeable though
>>
>>36865103
>>36865115
>>36865059
Any suggestions for dealing with loose skin? If I can't take my shirt off i'm not even sure if it's worth going down to 190-200 again. I've never seen loose skin in person though.
>>
You can get surgery and fix it pretty well. And ya it's worth it so you don't die at age 30
>>
>>36865161
>It isn't that noticeable though
Hate to be that guy but could you do a quick google image search to show me a comparable picture? That's pretty much my exact scenario only i'm 6'1.

>100lbs is the point where it's an 100% inevitable certainty you'll have some loose skin.
>100lbs
I think you mean 10lbs.
Sagging skin has more to do with cellular degradation than weight.
>>
>>36865189
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for anon

think he lost like 150 and he was 20. His has gotten better over the past few years

Not to be a dick, but unless you have a reason why you want to get there your not going to make it.

I lost 80lbs in 3 months

Just fucking do it, man

295 to 133 reporting.

It took me from mid August 2014 to mid December to get to 160 pounds. The moment I cut all the shit from my diet the weight just melted away.

When I was down to 220 by October 2014, I did cardio everyday for a minimum of 80 minutes and got down to 160 before Christmas. Relaxed a little, but by new years I continued my cut but I purposefully slowed my loss down and was 140 by June 2015 and 135 by September 2015. Have maintained ever since.

You likely won't have saggy skin, but you will get scars. Don't buy into the scar cream meme. Save your money. they'll fade and mostly vanish.
>>
>>36865353
How?
>>
>>36865447
Thanks for replying, that's unreal progress.
>>
>>36865170
It's still worth it my friend, I was 330lbs at my maximum and I've managed to get it down to 210 over the course of two years. I have no saggy skin (do have some stretch marks though) but I still don't take my shirt off because I'm a sasquatch with hair all over my shoulders and back. Even so it doesn't matter much because I feel so much better and I can do so many more things in a day. You don't realize how much more lethargic and demotivated you've become as a fatass until you get back down to a healthier weight.
>>
>>36865456

You didn't read it wrong. I was getting panic attacks and I couldn't sleep properly so I cut literally everything out but water, raw vegitables, chicken, broiled pork for 5 months. No cheat days, no fuck ups, no fun at Thanksgiving, Halloween or even Christmas. It was hell, but it was worth it.

Now I eat whatever, but I do it in moderation, which was an important lesson I learned. At one point I was drinking 6 liters of soda every week, now it's one can every other month and even then I'm likely not to finish it.

Look at bakblade
>>
>>36865685
Tried it and found it not worth the hassle, I'm literally gorilla-tier and I have to shave every day otherwise I get uncomfortable stubble all over my upper arms and shoulders. I've just gotten to the point where I'm used to no shirtless in public and in private girls can either deal with it or they can't. Surprisingly they don't seem to care too much, or maybe I've just been lucky.
>>
>>36865449

How I did it?

First thing you should know is that you need to have a reason for doing this.

My reason was to gain confidence and to be able to wear cool clothes.
I stopped drinking soda
I only eat one small meal every morning
I only drink water
I stopped eating at night (I work third shift)
I started running

I went from 295 to 214 in 3 and a half months.
>>
>>36864955
Dude what the fuck were you doing going from 170 back up to three hundred pounds?
>>
>>36865224
at 100 lbs, you're going to be closer to this one most likely. Remember that everyone's bodies are different, and there's a lot of factors that are going to go into determining how much saggy skin you have if any. It's not really easy to predict, and frankly you should just lose the weight and see. If you don't have lose skin, great, if you do, also still great, because you lost the weight. Cosmetic surgery is not a big deal (or a big cost) compared to obesity.
>>
Don't worry too much about loose skin OP. Eating a healthy diet means your body will have everything it needs to produce the healthiest skin you've ever had in your life.

Also, consider this - when a woman gets pregnant, she balloons up in a short period of time. After she has the baby it takes 9-12 months to lose the weight; longer if she's breastfeeding. Eventually her stomach will go back to normal but with stretch marks, assuming she keeps up a healthy routine.

My mum doesn't even have stretch marks - she said she moisturized with shea butter twice a day and ate a lot of high collagen foods.
>>
>>36864955
The skin will tighten up but if you have a lot of scarring from stretch marks you're likely to have sagginess that won't go away.
