I'm a firefighter and I HATE doing core, but I'm really tall (2.1m) and core is vital to injury prevention. Specifically back injuries.
What kind of non-crunching core does /fit/ like to do? Any links would be much appreciated

Planks and leg raises, and as for crunches, you've gotta do them sometimes if they're pretty hard for you then start doing more sit ups.
