Realized it's because I developed several motor pattern dysfunctions though, look into that.

It basically means you don't know how to lift.

For instance, I realized I was basically not using my chest when I bench, which is why I was basically unable to progress much past 2pl8.

Motor skills is another word for your dexterity a person with poor motor skills might have difficulty writing with a pencil, overextend their elbows or just walk kind of funny. The muscles associated with motor skills (psoas, lats and hip flexors to name a few) are usually very tight and as such require exercises trained to hit those muscles.
