I actually wear Axe Phoenix Dry. I've used it for a decade and its been fine.
I get complimented on my smell but its mostly a cologne I wear. I use fragrance free soap/detergent. Once I stop using axe Ill switch to a fragrance free deodorant.

Use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol on it before getting in the shower. Then apply any half decent deodorant when you normally would. This is THE secret to not smelling like shit.
